Bread and Toppings

  • 2 slices whole grain or country bread toasted
  • 1 whole ripe avocado
  • 125 g burrata fresh
  • 50 g fresh or smoked salmon to preference
  • 1 handful arugula sprouts
  • ½ piece lemon juice only
  • 1 splash olive oil
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • seeds (chia, sesame or flax) for decoration

Preparation Steps

  • Mash the avocado in a bowl with the lemon juice, a splash of olive oil, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  • Generously spread the mashed avocado on the toasted bread slices.
  • Place a handful of arugula sprouts on each toast.
  • Carefully cut the burrata in half to reveal its creamy center and place half on each toast.
  • Add small dice of fresh or smoked salmon on top of the burrata.
  • Season with freshly ground pepper and sprinkle with seeds for a crunchy touch.
